It is the 5th day of the Bout of Books 8.0 Readathon. The end is near! I have enjoyed all the challenges and events this week. They have just been so fun and here is another one that I attempt to do.

C. Adjective (from a book title) (hot, cold, dark, etc.)
D. Number (from a book title)
E. Noun (from a book title)
F. Fave Hero/Heroine you wouldn't mind spending a LOT of time with (from a book - list title/series)

Help! I'm being held captive in the forest, by President Snow
It is very subtle here!
He is demanding 10 knifes to set me free!
I have just discovered that Becky Bloomwood was captured too!
On second thought, please send Candyfloss, and don't worry if you don't hear from us for awhile!

Much Love,

Throwback Thursday

Cathy Cassidy was one of my favourite authors when I was younger. Ginger Snaps was an amazing book and it has been years since I last read it!

'You can make a wish come true, if you're determined . . .'
Gone are the days when Ginger was an outsider, always on the fringes of friendship. She's swapped puppy fat and pigtails for make-up and hair straighteners and never looked back - until now. Ginger and Shannon are best mates, but when they befriend lonely Emily, everything changes. Even the saxophone-playing boy in the trilby hat can't help - he's part of the problem. Are Ginger and Shannon drifting apart or can they stay best friends forever?

So very happy to get this from a friend and I shall be taking a trip down Memory Lane.

New Reads Wednesday

So I've decided to update you on some of my new reads. The Booktube-A-Thon starts next week and I have nothing to read between now and then, so I picked up some books from my shelf and from my library to start on these last few days of chilled-out reading. Once the Booktube-A-Thon starts I am going to be reading like a fast bunny (not like a slow turtle I always am).

1. Life at the Shallow End by Helen Bailey
Electra Brown can be very shallow. Her dad is having a mid-life crisis, her mom's given in to her daytime TV addiction, her little brother (aka The Little Runt) has been caught shoplifting Tampax and even Google the guinea pig's gone mental. But despite life going pear-shaped around her, all Electra can think of is whether green eyeliner complements or clashes with blue eyes!
Found it at my library and it looks like a very light, teenager-y read. If it's anything like Angus, Thongs and Full-frontal Snogging then I'm definitely excited to read it!

2. The Maze Runner by James Dashner

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.

Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they’ve closed tight. And every thirty days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.

Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.

Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind.
I have this on my Kindle but my school library just recently got it so I decided to borrow it as I do enjoy reading 'real' books rather than ebooks. This is meant to be an amazing trilogy so I am excited to read it!

3. Black Heart Blue by Louisa Reid

Hephzibah: You've no idea what it's like having a freak for a sister.

Rebecca: Born first, prettier, Hephzi's always been the popular one.

The Father: When he was busy with his bottle we were usually safe. Usually.

The Mother: Her specialist subject was misery and lessons of painful silence ...

Hepzibah and Rebecca are twins. One beautiful, one disfigured. Trapped with their loveless parents, they dream of a normal life. But when one twin tragically dies, the other must find a way to escape. Because if she doesn't, she'll end up like her sister.
Recommended to me by an old friend and sounds like an interesting book. I don't know a lot about it but that just makes it more exciting to read!

4. Looking for Alaska by John Green

Before. Miles "Pudge" Halter's whole existence has been one big nonevent, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave the "Great Perhaps" (François Rabelais, poet) even more. Then he heads off to the sometimes crazy, possibly unstable, and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed-up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young, who is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart.

After. Nothing is ever the same.

Just started this book and I love John Green after reading The Fault In our Stars so I'm pretty happy to be starting this book!

So those are my new reads, tell me down in the comments some of the books you've recently got and whether you've read any of these books before.

Document Your Life | JUNE

This is my first time I have attempted to make a Document Your Life and just realised that the title on the video say 'Document My Life' 😄
This month's Document Your Life consists of vlogs, ice cream, birthdays, days out, summer, and craziness:D

Document Your Life was created by Lauren Hannah: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCa40JeMC0idOiGvGuviPulg
Project Document Your Life blog page: http://laurenhannahblog.tumblr.com/documentyourlife

~Document Your Life is an online video project that will hopefully make you notice the little beautiful things in the world, and inspire you to live your life to the fullest. The idea is to make a video each month, for which you film short clips of the things you've seen and done in that month. ~
